At BHS we think of your child’s wellness as their undeniable right to health and wholeness. We work in partnership with students, families, and educators to create a safe and healthy school environment as we guide your children through their wellness journey.
Students experience a variety of programs, under the guidance of Mackenzie Scott, our Director of Student Wellness, Kendall Shoemake, Assistant Head of School, and other BHS faculty and administrators. They include but are not limited to tending to your child’s health and medical needs, safety protocols and procedures (including
COVID-19 guidelines),
outdoor education trips, student council, community time, academic and
after-school enrichment programs, extended daycare, social emotional learning, restorative practices, and
diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging. The Wellness Center provides a home for many of these activities and programs within our community. Meet our Wellness Team below.
